Natural Inspirations

All of you who know Corinne Brown know that she considers being located in Mammoth Lakes, California a great source of inspiration. Whether hiking or biking or, for much of the year skiing, Corinne's design work draws much from the grandeur of her surroundings, while not missing the smallest details that she sees or experiences.

We have put together a sampling of designs that contain creative impulses from the natural world, from fabric groupings that Corinne and her associates pull together based on clients' leanings, water or sky inspired rugs, or even a pine cone shaped chandelier.

Having natural elements or references to natural elements in our spaces helps to bring balance to our lives. The representation can be in the textures, colors and shapes of nature which appeals to our mind, body and spirit. There is a concept that when we sync ourselves with nature’s rhythms, we actually ride the waves of energy to feel more in harmony with life and the world around us...calm, rejuvenated, restored.

Brown Design Group looks forward to hearing how you were inspired by nature on your travels this past summer season as we turn towards autumn.
